The CTI is an independent body. Since 1934, it has been charged by French law to authorize all engineering training, develop training quality, and promote the title and profession of engineer in France and abroad.
Every 5 years the CTI evaluates all authorized engineering courses. Each time a training program is presented for appraisal, Polytech Annecy-Chambery must meet the European Standards and Guidelines for higher education (ESG), established by the European Association for Quality Management in higher education.
The engineering school has implemented a quality approach since 2011 to aim for a continuous improvement of its training.
